One of a Kind

Most people have never actually “made” a bead. Why do I so enjoy making them from scratch?

Because I love the process, and I love making beautiful things! Each of my artisan glass beads is made by hand, using an oxygen/propane torch. Once I finish the torch work, I anneal the beads in a kiln, then cap and line them with Sterling silver for an elegant finish.

I find the whole process mesmerizing. I love watching the molten glass move as I play with heat and gravity to shape each bead. Even after several decades as a glass beadmaker, I still discover new techniques. I see no end to my thorough exploration of this humble material!
